A Going Church for a Coming Christ

Children's Ministries

At Millers Creek Baptist, we want children to experience Jesus in a real way each day as they learn and grow to know Him more. Our weekly opportunities and special events serve to create an environment where Jesus is worshiped in an accessible and life-changing way for preschool through 6th grade children.

Worship for Life: Kids

Worship for Life: Kids is a special time of learning, worship, and fun for kids ages pre-K through 3rd grade during our morning worship services. Kids are dismissed during the service and enjoy fun videos, games, and learning based on Scripture. Currently, children are being taught from the What's In the Bible video curriculum which goes through the entire Bible in a year!

Children's Choir

Weekly meeting during the school year on Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Choir Room

The Children's choir (1st - 6th graders) meets throughout the school year and performs occasionally during the morning worship services. Each year the Children's choir performs a Christmas musical and some years a Spring concert. Kids learn music, how to read vocal parts, as well as basic instrumentation such as hand-bells.

Children's Missions Groups

Weekly meeting at 7pm on Wednesdays

Royal Ambassadors (RAs)

The RAs are boys 1st-6th grade who learn about missions and participate in local and international missions projects throughout the year. Some projects include raising a garden for H.O.P.E ministries, building bird-houses for widows and shut-ins, or collecting items to donate to missions. Some of their events include a father-son camp-out on the church property and the annual RA Pinewood Derby. RAs are led by Corey Sheets.

Girls in Action (GA)

The GAs learn about missions around the world and participate in many projects throughout the year to support local or international missions efforts. Some of the projects and activities they do include singing and taking crafts to the nursing homes and creating Christmas gifts for widows and shut-ins. The GAs also participate in the Pinewood Derby. GAs are led by Mindy Brown.

Mission Friends

The Mission Friends group is for girls and boys ages 3-Kindergarten and they meet at the same time as RAs and GAs. Mission Friends is an introduction to mission work around the world, and children play games, learn songs, and do crafts centered around sharing the gospel and helping missionaries around the world. Mission Friends are led by Jan Kerley.
