Is Jesus important to you?
Do you understand His claims to be Savior and Lord?

His desire is for you to understand who He is and the role He longs to play in your life.
His desire is to glorify Himself in you.
He will do this and become a constant companion, counselor, and guide in your life
if you will give Him opportunity.

Do you need a friend? Does your life need guidance?
Do you need help? Do you need forgiveness?

 Jesus & You!

You need Jesus.
He longs to have a relationship with you.
He wants to give you forgiveness and His salvation.

Salvation is a gift from God.
It is not something you earn or buy.

Eternal life is not the end result of a good life.

You can not receive it by being baptized
or going to church.

God’s salvation comes when one responds to the prompting of the Holy Spirit’s conviction of their sinful state. The Spirit will lead you to a Godly sorrow over your sin and grant you the needed faith to repent of your rebellion against God. All sin is rebellion against our Creator. The Holy Spirit will enable you to surrender your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ by showing you the magnificent love demonstrated for you at Calvary’s cross. You will understand that Jesus died for you, shed His blood for you, and rose again to give you eternal life. You will repond with a humble act of love by asking Christ to remove your sin and grant you His righteousness. This is saving faith; and it always results in a changed life.

Here are some things the Holy Spirit will help you understand. Please look up and refer to the included Scripture references.

1. God loves you very much and pursues a relationship with you.
(John 3:16,17 and 6:44)

2. You are a sinner and are separated from God because of your sin.
In and of himself, man is utterly helpless to save himself. You need a Savior.
(Romans 3:10-12 & 23, 5:8, and 6:23)

3. Jesus' sacrificial death and His glorious resurrection are the only means by which you can be saved from hell. There is no other way.
(John 14:6, Romans 10:9,10 and Ephesians 2:8,9)

4. Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior by forsaking your sin and submitting your entire life (past, present and future) to the Lordship of Christ.
(Romans 10:13 and Luke 9:23-26)

Dear God, I really believe that you are drawing me to Yourself. Your Spirit has convicted me of my sin against You and Your authority in my life.
Please forgive me. Thank you for paying what to me was an "unpayable" price by sacrificing Your only Son for my sin.

I believe with all my heart that Jesus died for me.
I believe Your Word teaches that His blood removes sin and cleanses the heart...
mine needs cleansing.
Would you do that right now?

I repent of my sin and desire to give all that I am for all that You are. Help me live for You. Help me to worship You and give You glory through my thoughts, motives, words, and actions.

May I be a faithful witness to the life-changing grace that You offer in Christ Jesus.

It is in His name that I pray. Amen.
